TAPAS project and the Spanish case study presented today at the 16th National Aquaculture Congress in Spain. The event, organised by the Spanish Aquaculture Society, mainly focused on the challenges of Spanish Aquaculture regarding to research, development and innovation. TAPAS experiments were introduced to the public through technical sessions by Nuria Garcia Bueno, the Post-doctoral researcher in Aquaculture from University of Murcia. Visitors gained insight to the mini algae experiment, biofilm and macrofaunal recolonization, as well as the industrial feeding of gammarus. The TAPAS Spanish case study takes place on seven sampling points on the Western-Mediterranean Sea by Murcia.
