More than 40 congress participants attended the TAPAS project presentation at the SEA-Acuicultura XVII Spanish Aquaculture Congress in Cartagena, Spain. TAPAS partner, University of Murcia introduced their research on the effects on the marine environment of fish food with antibiotics and have been invited to join the National Plan of Antibiotics Resistance. The objective of this strategy is to reduce the risk of resistance to antibiotics and to reduce the impact of antibiotics on human and animal health. TAPAS also won the second award for the best poster, and project partners, Nuria García-Bueno and Arnaldo Marin have been interviewed by the national aquaculture magazine, IPac Acuicultura.
