Bord Iascaigh Mhara, Ireland’s Seafood Development Agency (BIM) hosted a two-day conference on the scientific developments within the salmon farming industry in Galway, Ireland on the 25th and 26th of October. TAPAS project was presented by Joanne Casserly and Dave Jackson from Marine Institute – Foras na Mara. The Bradán Salmon Growing Conference was covering the latest research and technological developments within the sector on issues such as fish health and welfare, structural and service equipment, as well as organic certification. The TAPAS presentations were highlighting the tools and solutions to support better licensing of aquaculture.
