TAPAS partner, Plymouth Marine Laboratory (PML) hosted a meeting of the South West Marine Cluster focused on Aquaculture. Over 20 people of a wide variety of backgrounds, from industry, higher education, research organisations and local government, gathered for a brainstorming session on how to foster the sustainable development of aquaculture in the south west. We had a great update from Dorset county representatives on their aquaculture activities and from PML with presentations from Ricardo Torres on his work in TAPAS on shellfish carrying capacity and Peter Miller on HAB identification from Satellites.
