Find out more about the TAPAS project and some of the work we are doing on freshwater pond systems in this new video. Akpo Ekpeki, PhD student at the University of Stirling is developing models for semi-extensive and extensive pond systems used to grow carp in Hungary. The models are being validated using data collected by SZIU and will be used to assess nutrient dynamics and evaluate production potential within the systems being investigated.
