The Norwegian case study area is located in Hardangerfjorden. This area is the most aquaculture intensive area in Norway. The purpose of the field campaign was to collect data that will be used to validate the different models developed and tested in TAPAS. These are models that simulate the distribution of organic matter and therapeutic agents around a fish farms, and sediments samples were collected in the recipient area of three different fish farms in Hardangerfjorden. The work was done using the MS Solvik, with captain Leon Pedersen. Deck crew was Sander Berg, Trine Dale, and Gjermund Bahr. During the four days field campaign, the TAPAS team from the Norwegian institute for Water Research experienced everything from bright sunny weather to ice cold rain.
