APAS partner, Laurent Barillé from University of Nantes presents at Aquaculture Europe Berlin within the session of “Cage systems and offshore structures. TAPAS team uses satellite-derived, high-resolution maps of seawater temperature, turbidity and phytoplankton (a proxy of available food for oyster) coupled with oyster biological modeling to create predictive maps of oyster growth rate in offshore waters where shellfish farming does not currently take place.
