The Hellenic Centre for Marine Research (HCMR) is developing an Aquaculture Specific Profiler (ASP), which aims to monitor and record the environmental conditions of the sea column next to the aquaculture facilities. The tool will collect data at specific water depths allowing to characterize the surrounding water mass with the use of commercially available sensors. The ASP will have the option to be configured with a micro camera payload to expand its operational capabilities and add a powerful new dimension to integrate surface to bottom biogeochemical measurements.
