Students from “Greece from the Sea” summer seminar, organized by American School of Classical Studies, recently visited the aquaculture facilities at Hellenic Centre for Marine Research – HCMR. Dr Manolis Tsapakis gave a presentation explaining the TAPAS Greek case study carried out at Vourlias Bay. The students learned how a variety of sampling techniques are being used to collect environmental data from fish farm sites, for use within the ‘Aquaculture Integrated Model.’
