The TAPAS team focused on the project dissemination and exploitation activities to ensure that the scientific results and newly developed tools are taken up by stakeholders. This task also included the development, implementation and coordination of a project communication strategy to provide information about the project for all relevant stakeholder groups. The work package ensured the involvement of the European aquaculture industry in the project and enhanced the use of project results by EU decision making bodies, national and regional authorities. The TAPAS team introduced the TAPAS project as the main scientific base to increase the “environmental space” for aquaculture. The following tasks were completed:
