The latest aquaculture research and innovations have been introduced this week at AQUA18 event in Montpellier, France. The conference organised by the European Aquaculture Society and the World Aquaculture Society focused on aquaculture as the most efficient producer of high quality food, contributing to global health and wealth. More than 3000 participants from 109 countries attended to this year’s scientific conference, which included trade exhibitions, industry forums, workshops and student events. The TAPAS project results have been presented by Trevor Telfer (University of Stirling), Arnaldo Marin (University of Murcia), Laurent Barille (University of Nantes), Marta Castilla-Gavilan (University of Nantes) and Tamas Bardocz (AquaBioTech Group). TAPAS project also organised a workshop on our new and flexible approaches to Aquaculture Licensing and a poster presentation led by (Marine Institute Ireland).
