The TAPAS team in Malta revisited the case study site in Marsaxlokk, where the ocean profiler continues to measure the strength and direction of the local currents. The dive team from the AquaBioTech Group retrieved the profiler from the southern edge of the fish farm, then reconfigured the instrument before deploying it in a new location within the boundaries of the farm. The goal of this hydrodynamic study is to illustrate the movement of the water throughout the farm area to help model flushing and deposition rates of farm effluents. Stay tuned for further results to be posted soon!
