The TAPAS project was presented to the International Ocean Institute (IOI) by Rachel Cox from the AquaBioTech Group. The presentation touched on all aspects of the TAPAS project, ranging from the preliminary nutrient retention case study to the now establish IMTA (Integrated Multitrophic Aquaculture) system and the application of satellite imagery for Posidonia distribution mapping. The audience were familiarised with the predominant marine equipment applied during the study, which include an ROV (Remote Operated Vehicle) and a current profiler used for Posidonia surveys and nutrient dispersion models, respectively.
